Structure
The network should consist of government organizations, NGOs, CBOs, private institutions & individuals who are concerned with community development especially in the area of Reproductive Health. Government participation should also be encouraged.
No restriction on basis of gender, ethnicity, religion, etc.
Membership Fee
The Local Focal Groups should decide on the amount to be charged separately for individuals and organizations and report it back to Secretariat.
Fees should be taken from both individuals and organisations.
Registration & annual fees charged.
Voluntary contribution.
Roles, Responsibilities, Rights and Benefits of Members
Everyone must be loyal to the aims and objectives of the network.
Every member will be responsible for fulfilling the duties in his/her area. Responsibilities should be given according to the interest and expertise of the member.
Work for network with loyalty and truthfulness.
Opportunities to attend capacity building activities.
Substitute Member
Focal Group should have the right to nominate/ send a member in his/her absence as a substitute.
If member is coming on an organizational capacity, then secondary member can attend. If membership is on an individual capacity, then no substitute allowed.
Membership Tenure
Every member should be permanent.
Members should be given a temporary membership of 2 years and his/her conduct during these two years will hold him/her fit for permanent membership.
Application Criteria
Loyal, educated, hard working and punctual person.
Should be referred by someone.
Membership to be based on devotion to the work done in RH issues and the influence on the community.
Membership Acceptance Authorization
Focal Person
Approval for membership must be taken from general body/ executive committee Local Core Group.
An advisory committee should be formed to screen that who fulfils the membership criteria, and then, elected by elections. |
